Our Programming

Through our culturally relevant storytelling & theater workshops, we create opportunities for students to engage in theater from a place of belonging. With instruction from the professional artists who teach our classes, students explore storytelling & acting in a way that centers their stories & culture. We work with each school to meet the specific needs of the students & adapt our workshops to align with the teacher’s curriculum. Our educational programming has engaged students at over 100 elementary, middle, high schools & colleges in the Twin Cities & greater Minnesota.

TESTIMONIALS

“It was nothing short of amazing that my students had the opportunity to do a workshop with Exposed Brick Theatre. The cultural relevance and story telling as it relates to the lives of my students and their families was very impactful.”

Griffin Fox, Prodeo Academy.

“The power of representation is very important. Having many Karen students in the class, they were touched to see a professionally produced play of a story line and character that represented them. The presenters were also dynamic and fun, which engaged ALL students regardless of background.”

Kong Vang, Washington Technology

“Thank you for coming in and working with our students. I loved your positive energy - and the students have shared how much they enjoyed the workshops.” – Rebekah Rentzel, Open World Learning
